Know the day an intermediary is struck off

A verification is a snapshot; a network needs surveillance. BrokPass diffs every register sync against the previous snapshot and turns the differences into structured change events — the engine behind portfolio monitoring and strike-off alerts across ORIAS, FSMA, AFM, CBI.

The change-events engine

Each time a register is synced, every incoming record is compared with the stored one. Any meaningful difference is classified and persisted as a change event with before/after snapshots of the normalized record — register-wide, not just for watched intermediaries:

new

New registration

An intermediary appears in a register for the first time — useful for market watch and competitor intelligence.

struck_off

Strike-off

A previously registered intermediary loses its registration. The event that matters most: distributing through a struck-off intermediary is an IDD compliance breach.

renewed

Renewal / re-registration

A struck-off intermediary becomes registered again — closes the loop on remediation cases.

category_change

Category change

The set of registration categories changes (e.g. an agent adds a broker registration, or drops a banking-credit category). Scope-of-authorisation drift, caught early.

updated

Record update

Other meaningful record changes (e.g. a legal-name change) — kept as a lower-significance event class.

One event format, every register

Events reference the normalized record, so a strike-off in FSMA looks exactly like a strike-off in AFM or CBI to your systems.

Detection cadence per register

Change events are produced at each register sync, so detection latency follows each register's data cadence:

What you get as a customer

Monitoring is included on the Business plan (portfolio of up to 100 intermediaries) and on Enterprise (continuous monitoring, SLA, high volume). You give us the list of intermediaries you work with; we do the watching.

Portfolio watch

Your intermediary list is tracked across all covered registers — brokers, agents, sub-agents, whatever the country.

Strike-off alerts

When a watched intermediary is struck off or suspended, you are notified — before your next periodic review.

Webhooks & reports

Events are delivered to your endpoint via webhook and/or as periodic compliance reports, set up with our team.

Honest note: monitoring is a delivered service today — configured with our team and delivered via webhooks and reports. A self-serve dashboard is on the roadmap, not yet shipped.

What teams use it for

Distribution-group oversight (IDD)

Groups distributing through hundreds of brokers and sub-agents are expected to work with registered intermediaries only. Continuous register monitoring turns an annual spot-check into standing evidence of oversight across every covered country.

Onboarding gates

Verify at onboarding, then keep verifying: add each new intermediary to the watched portfolio so a later strike-off triggers an alert instead of surfacing at the next periodic review.

Audit-ready compliance files

Every change event carries before/after snapshots of the normalized record. Alerts and periodic reports give compliance teams a documented trail of when a change was detected and acted on.

Insurers & MGAs: producer surveillance

Monitor appointed producers and delegated-authority partners across FR, BE, NL and IE with one integration — same event format whatever the register.

Put your intermediary network under watch

Tell us how many intermediaries you work with and in which countries — we'll propose the right plan and have monitoring running quickly.
