One verification layer for Europe's intermediary registers
BrokPass verifies insurance intermediaries against the official national registers — ORIAS, FSMA, AFM, CBI — through one tool, one API and one normalized record. Built for compliance teams that operate across borders.
What BrokPass does
Under the EU Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), every member state keeps a public register of authorised insurance intermediaries — but each register has its own portal, its own identifiers and its own data format. BrokPass puts one layer on top: paste a national identifier and we resolve the country from its format, query the right official register, and return a single normalized record — same fields, same status values, same category taxonomy, whatever the source.
The same layer powers a REST API and an MCP server, plus a change-detection engine that diffs every register sync — the foundation for strike-off alerts and portfolio monitoring across your intermediary network.
Coverage today
Real-time means the official register is queried live per request; other sources are official open-data sets synced on the cadence shown. More countries are added connector by connector.
Who BrokPass is for
Distribution groups
Verify and monitor your whole intermediary network — brokers, agents and sub-agents across several countries — from one integration instead of four register portals.
Compliance & onboarding teams
Check registration status at onboarding and re-check it continuously. Struck-off and suspended statuses surface immediately in a consistent format.
Insurers & MGAs
Make register verification part of producer appointment and delegated-authority oversight, with an audit-friendly normalized record per check.
RegTech & platforms
Embed European intermediary verification in your own product through the REST API or the MCP server — one schema for every register.
Beyond point-in-time checks: monitoring
Every register sync is diffed against the previous snapshot, producing change events — new registrations, strike-offs, renewals, category changes. Watch a portfolio of intermediaries and get alerted when one is struck off, instead of finding out at the next annual review. Available on Business and Enterprise plans.
How monitoring worksBrokPass is not an official register
BrokPass is an independent verification service. It is not operated, endorsed or approved by any supervisory authority. Results are based on the official registers — queried live where the register offers it, otherwise synced from the register's public open data on the cadence shown above. For a legally authoritative confirmation, always consult the official register directly (linked on every result and in the coverage list above).
